 We found more than just kids at the South Texas Children's Home, we also found Conway, a rather shabby llama, whom Buddy decided to shear. The poor guy was covered in several seasons of matted hair, punctuated throughout by the ravenous sticker burrs which thrived and swarmed around the small town of Beeville. Needless to say the llama was not particularly pleased by the attention (and the makeshift shears Buddy found in the truck maintenance shed alarmed him no end) so we force fed him carrots and after-dinner mints in an attempt to make friends.
